Hello friends,
I hope the new year is bringing focus to what matters most to you. I wanted to say something about the first artwork of a series I’m making. The piece was inspired by the concept of human-machine symbiosis, and it will be part of the art collection at Replit’s office.
latent space is the first visible result of over a year of exploring and experimenting with diffusion models, prompts, and poetry. It’s my visualization of a dimension where human and machine talk to each other in a unified language, where there’s possibility for transformation, and where new potential is created. It’s also my first experiment in encoding meaning across layers.
I designed it to be experienced both from a distance, as a whole, and up close, more intimately. I like the concept of quiet contemplation, as in Agnes Martin’s meditative works.
