Hello friends,
This October, I’ll be presenting a new series in a private exhibition in NYC. Since that setting isn’t open to the public, I’ll host a one-night gathering in parallel, in a gorgeous, intimate space with brick walls. I’m so content to finally share what I’ve been working on with friends and friends of friends. And why not, celebrate together for an evening.
The new series of works has absorbed most of my energy. It’s inspired by moments of contemplation I experienced on three islands. What unites the works is the feeling I had of facing something beyond what my words could express.
There was a lot of emotional density I needed to translate into visuals; to do so, I collaborated with AI starting from photographs I shot. I want to show how art can arise from a dialogue in which I lose and rediscover myself in what exceeds my understanding: beauty that survives translation.
Below there’s a preview of the central digital piece. I’m bringing it to life as a physical work.

If you happen to be in NYC on October 24, I’d love to see you. It would mean so much to spend time around art with you.

Flower Color Guide by Taylor and Michael Putnam
This is where I sometimes draw inspiration for abstracting flowers in my work. Just shots of flowers at their peak, organized by color. Effortlessly beautiful.
